Es tauchten hin und wieder Gerüchte auf, dass die bald erscheinende Hardware Motionplus via Patch auch für ältere Wii-Spiele kompatibel sein wird. Doch dies hat Nintendo jetzt dementiert:
The Wii MotionPlus accessory is only for games that are designed to make use of its abilities.
